Komodo is a small island of 280 square km located between the islands of Sumba and Flores. The island is almost all hill and barren except for palm trees and some wood but it is famous for is giant lizards which are considered the last of their kind remaining in the world today.

A. TOUR PROGRAM VIA BIMA - SUMBAWA ISLAND

 3 DAYS KOMODO THE GIANT LIZARD ADVENTURE

 DAY 01: DENPASAR - BIMA (SUMBAWA ISLAND) - KOMODO

Upon arrival at the Airport - Bima, our guide will meet and transfer you to Sape harbor about 40 km or one hour drive to the East and board on a wooden boat (a local boat which have been modified to enable and suitable for carrying tourist. Equipped by radio navigation, electricity, and toilet, one big cabin that has 6 - 8beds, life jacket and mattress) Then boating to Komodo Island for 4 hours passing some islands and sometimes enjoy the attraction of dolphins in front of your boat. Lunch will be served on board. Late afternoon arrive at Komodo Island, accommodation and meals on board. (L,D)

DAY 02: KOMODO - BIMA

After breakfast walk for 1.5 miles to Banugulung to see the activities of the giant Monitor Lizard "Komodo Dragon" which was scientifically described in 1912 as VARANUS KOMODOENSIS, which is up to 3 m long and about 150 kg, weight. The total number of these lizards is estimated at 3.500 - 5.000 inhabited in Komodo, Padar, Rinca Island and Western Flores. Return to the based and an opportunity to swim or snorkel on clean and white sandy beaches. Lunches will be served on boat. Boating back to Sape then drive to Bima. Upon arrival direct check-in to La'Mbitu Hotel. (B,L,D)

DAY 03: BIMA - DENPASAR (BALI)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport to depart for Denpasar-Bali. (B)

DAY 01: DENPASAR - BIMA (SUMBAWA ISLAND)

Upon arrival at the Airport - Bima - Sumbawa Island our guide will meet you and transfer to La'Mbitu Hotel for accommodation and meals. After lunch having half day tour to visit Donggo traditional Bimanese village to get to know their way of life, beliefs, custom and culture.(L,D)

DAY 02: BIMA - KOMODO

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Sape harbor about 40 km to the South East (1 hour) and board on a wooden boat (a local boat which have been modified to enable and suitable for carrying tourist. DAY 03: RINCA - LABUAN BAJO (FLORES ISLAND)

After having breakfast walk through the Island to observe the Komodo dragons in their pure environment and an opportunity to observe other wild animal such as deer, horses, bird etc. in their wild life. Return to the boat for having lunch then depart for Labuanbajo - Flores Island. Upon arrival transfer to Komodo Ecolodge for accommodation and meals. (B,L,D)

DAY 04: LABUANBAJO - FREE PROGRAM

Breakfast at hotel. Full day free program. Accommodation at KOMODO ECOLODGE ( B L D )

DAY 05: LABUANBAJO - DENPASAR (BALI)

DAY 01: DENPASAR - LABUANBAJO ( FLORES ISLAND )

Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo - West Flores at 11.20 , our guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel. Labuanbajo - a little town inhabited by fishermen, lies at the extreme western part of Flores. The town serves as a jumping-off point for the trip to Komodo. Lunch at local restaurant, then visiting Batu Cermin Cave - 5 km away from the town of Labuanbajo. The cave is 75 by 5 m large, and contains stalactites and stalagmites. Proceed to Puncak Waringin to see the beautiful sunset. Back to hotel for dinner and accommodation at KOMODO ECOLODGE (L,D)

DAY 02: LABUANBAJO - KOMODO - LABUANBAJO

After breakfast at 06.00 AM cruise to Komodo island for about 3 hours by a local wooden boat passing several small islands. Upon arrival in Komodo island, walk for 1.5 miles to Banugulung to see the activities of the giant Monitor Lizard "Komodo Dragon" which was scientifically described in 1912 as VARANUS KOMODOENSIS, which is up to 3 m long and about 150 kg, weight. The total number of these lizards is estimated at 3.500 - 5.000 inhabited in Komodo, Padar and Rinca Island. Return to the based and an opportunity to swim or snorkel on clean and white sandy beaches of Pantai Merah (Pink Beach) where is also considered as the best spot for under water life and corals (snorkel equipment does not supplied). Lunches will be served on boat. Boating back to Labuanbajo and overnight at KOMODO ECOLODGE(B,L,D)

DAY 03: LABUANBAJO - DENPASAR (BALI)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning free at leisure until transfer to the airport to depart for Denpasar-Bali.(B)

4 DAYS KOMODO - LABUANBAJO TOUR
