The team arrived at the riverbank of Krueng Woyla, 50 kms of southern Meulaboh, on Tuesday (22/1) to explore the scary river because the crocodiles had killed a man last Sunday (13/1). The team started to plan rescuing the crocodiles and setting a trap.
On Wednesday (23/1),The trap is set in the river. Rofandi and Australia Zoo crews put the meat into the trap in order to attrack the crocodiles. On Thursday, a 4 metre crocodile was trapped and relocated to other area, Ranto Panyang, 1 kilometre away from the people of Woyla. |
